Temple of Dionysus

Our patron God

On March 1st, 2003 the readers of RATYHTL voted for Dionysus to be our patron God. Best know as the God of wine, Dionysus is also the star of Aristophanes' hilarious (no, I'm not being a smartass - it really is funny) play The Frogs. His female followers are called Maenads. You can't miss 'em - they're the women wearing a snake in their hair. Male followers are known as Satyrs (Oh, yeah, sorry you clicked on that link, eh?). The "Have You Heard The Good News About Dionysus?" pamphlet is HERE. Print it. Trim it. Fold it. Hand it out. Don't forget to pray to Him.
