02/02/2005: "Happy Birthday"

Today is Vienna's birthday (and, if she was still alive, Ayn Rand would've
objectively turned 100 today), so I won't be posting. I'll be back either
tomorrow or Friday with a huge goddamn post.In the meantime you can enjoy
the following story that's been, literally, ripped from yesterday's Metro
(Just like an episode of Law and Order!).

the fact that the dude was half frozen to death but gets on the subway.

It is probably at least half a mile from the stadium to the station, then waited for the subway, and then took it to temple hospital. Which has got to be at least a half hour ride.
